SERVICES
An important aspect of deepening our faith is worship, and we hold a range of Church services each month. All are welcome to join us at any of our services and events including families with young children. Both churches are open for private prayer during the day.
Kirdford, 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month. Our main communion service with music and hymns. We have a baby/toddler area where you can play quietly with your younger children.
Plaistow, 1st Sunday of the month. A relaxed, informal service. Everybody, young, old and in-between, is welcome! Activities linked to the theme of the service are provided for children. Refreshments are provided after the service. Please note there is no Holy Communion at this service.
Kirdford, 3rd Sunday of the month. A more child-friendly communion service with music and hymns, and activities for children linked to the theme of the service.
Wisborough Green, Kirdford or Plaistow, 5th Sunday of the month (when there is one).The congregations of our Vicar’s two parishes join together for a joint all-age communion service.
To arrange a baptism (christening), wedding or funeral at one of our churches, please get in touch with the Vicar (click “contact” above for contact details). Since 2008 new Church of England rules make it easier for couples to be married in a parish church even if neither of them lives in that parish, For details of these new rules, click here.
St John the Baptist, Kirdford. We will convene at 8.30 pm to share cheese and wine and commence Compline at 9 pm. This is a 15 minute ‘office’ of prayer and silence held traditionally at
